Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship
Kilkenny will play their third and penultimate match in the Liberty Insurance Senior Camogie Championship on Saturday, 14th July in St. Patrick’s GAA rounds, Ballyragget at 5pm against the Banner County. Having a 100% record to date, a win is still required to guarantee a top two finishing spot. Galway hold the top position at the moment with nine points and an extra game played. Kilkenny are second with six and Clare, though only on one point, a win over Kilkenny on Saturday and Waterford on Sunday week would see them guaranteed to progress. Top of the group go straight through to the semi-final while 2nd and 3rd will play quarter finals against opposition from the other group. Of course, Kilkenny will be fighting for the top spot and their match with Galway on Sunday week promises to be a tough, hard fought battle.

Liberty Insurance Intermediate Camogie Championship
The Intermediate match against Westmeath unfortunately halted the unbeaten run this team had enjoyed in the Liberty Insurance Intermediate Championship. Having cruised through the first two rounds against Antrim and Kildare respectively, hopes were high that momentum would carry them through. However, Westmeath showed why they were league finalists, only losing to Cork by a point in that competition. Overall, Westmeath possibly showed a greater hunger having lost to Tipperary the previous week but the Kilkenny girls battled to gain control in scorching temperatures. With only two teams progressing from the group to semi-finals, team and management must find a way to overcome both Tipperary and Galway in their remaining two clashes to keep All Ireland hopes alive.
