In the Michael Lyng Motors Hyundai Senior County Final, it is a repeat of the 2019 decider, City Side Dicksboro against southerners Piltown
Dicksboro won their three group matches, defeating St Martin’s, Clara and Tullaroan. They faced St Lactain’s/Lisdowney in the Quarter Final defeating them 3-18 to 1-6. This pitted them against last years County Champions Thomastown and Dicksboro won 2-7 to 0-9
Piltown defeated St Lactain’s/Lisdowney and lost to Thomastown in their group matches. They faced St Martin’s in the 1st Round and won 4-11 to 2-9. They then played St Brigid’s in the Quarter Final, winning 3-9 to 0-6. They faced Clara in the Semi Final and after a late comeback by Clara, Piltown won by a point 1-11 to 2-7
This should be a great final with two strong teams battling it out for the honours of Senior Champions 2021
