The first half started on time with Emeralds/St Annes getting the first point from play for Louise Hickey quickly followed by a free that that bounced around the goal Carrickshock were able to clear the danger.
Emeralds/St Annes put over another point thanks to Aoife Kavanagh from her own half, Mikaela Ryan took her own point from play with the help of a well worked out ball from the backs. Louise Hickey was quick to get two more points from play.
Carrickshock just slightly off the pace but battled hard for every ball, Chloe Vawser Purcell put another point over for Emeralds /St Annes after a good piece of play from Lucy Kavanagh. Carrickshock got a well deserved point courtesy of Aine Rohan with a free.
Carrickshock put savage pressure on the opposition backs but they stood up to the task, Emeralds/St Annes pushed towards half time with three more scores Mikaela Ryan point from a free quickly followed by a Goal, Aoife Kavanagh finishing the first half with a point from play.
Second half got underway at the same pace with Emeralds/St Annes racking up another score by Aoife Kavanagh point from play.
Carrickshock not able to find the target yet they we’re trying everything to get the better of the Emeralds/St Annes backs.
Emeralds/St Annes rewarded with a free in their own half dropped high and long by Mikaela Ryan cleared by Carrickshock keeper Clodagh O’Neill out to the 45m line, only to be driven back in by Aoife Kavanagh point from play.
Carrickshock got a run of play moving the ball nicely 2 point from play on the board in quick succession Aoife O’Shea and Kiah Dwyer. Louise Hickey responded for the home side another point from play. Thanks to some determined work by Carrickshocks Aine Rohan she was rewarded with a goal, shortly followed by 2 more points.
Emeralds/St Annes made great ground thanks to Niamh Leahy cutting through the middle of the pitch, nice ball forward picked up by Sarah Whelan goal.
Carrickshock battled till the end and got 2 more points, Aine Rohan and Kiah Dwyer getting the honours, last point of the match went to Louise Hickey for Emeralds/St Annes.
