KILKENNY CAMOGIE U15 DEVELOPMENT SQUADS 2023

Saturday 9^th of September saw the final day out for the U15 Camogie Development Squads in absolutely glorious sunshine around the country.

The Black Squad were in The National Sports Campus, Abbottstown, Dublin, beating Waterford and Antrim’s first teams in their group and were very unlucky to be beaten by Cork 2 in the Final by 3 points.

The Ambers blitz took place in Kilworth GAA Club, near Fermoy in Co Cork, where they beat Cork 1, Tipperary 1 and Galway 1 in their group and beat a strong and determined Dublin team by 6 points to be crowned All Ireland U15 A Champions for 2023.

This wrapped up a satisfying and successful season for the U15 ladies, starting with trials involving 120 players beginning in February with some notable victories along the way, including double Kilkenny wins in the Kilkenny blitz in June and in the Leinster blitz in Portlaoise in August.
