A great display of Camogie was enjoyed in Freshford on Sunday 12th of March as St. Lachtains hosted a friendly under 12 camogie mini blitz with Tullaroan and a large number of Kilmacud Crokes players
42 players from the Dublin club travelled to the Kilkenny venue to play games against Tullaroan & St Lachtains which were refereed by Conor Everard and Peter Burke
Each match lasted 40 mins and a fabulous array of camogie was displayed by both Kilkenny clubs and their Dublin visitors
Special Quest
The Camogie player of the Year, Kilkenny senior star Miriam Walsh, was a special guest and signed hurls for the happy players
Refreshment were organised by St. Lachtains and Tullaroan afterwards before the Crokes players travelled onward to enjoy the Kilkenny versus Dublin hurling league match in UPMC Nowlan Park
